Senior Master Blender at Bacardi
Manny Oliver graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1976.
In June of that year, he began working as a production engineer at Bacardi Corporation's rum facilities in Puerto Rico.
In 1985, he became the site rum blender and was directly involved in the creation of new high quality products. He kept that position until June of 1994 when he moved to Jacksonville to head the Quality Control Office for all the Americas.
In June 2011, Manny completed 35 years of direct involvement in the making of Bacardi rum.
In November of 2011 he was named Bacardi Senior Master Blender, earning the highest respect of his peers and the management team at Bacardi. His life-long expertise is critical to the success of new product development and quality control.
